This year I will endeavor to provide brief astrological forecasts. They will primarily be about lunar cycles. Other noteworthy astrological events will also be covered. The New Moon

As indicated above our first new moon of the year occurs at 22° Capricorn. Capricorn’s ruling planet is Saturn and it’s attribute is feminine. New moons are about new beginnings. There clearly is a re-interpretation of femininity and it’s meaning in our world today. There is also greater sensitivity aimed at the needs of women everywhere especially in third world countries. Slowly there is an awakening to new ways. Living with change although difficult, becomes limitless. This new moon opens new doorways for progress in areas of changes in power that will make these differences.

It is not for others to decide what is right for you. Doubt, worry, and fear chip away at your personal power. Inside each of us rests a child waiting to become aware of your own abilities. The life that we are living is a result of our own decisions. Time is ripe to make choices and decisions that will lead to greater success.

Thank you very much for this post. I’ve heard this Lunar eclipse plays an important role in ones life, especially if it falls around your birthday. My birthday was on November 29th and this eclipse occurred, just a day before my birthday (on 28th November 2012). Can you tell me about its effects.

  Several factors will help you (or me) determine the value of an eclipse.
  Do you know your chart? Do you know what house your Sagittarius Sun was in at birth?
  Info like this is needed for a real analysis. Chart interpretation is a complex process.
