Traditional people of Indian nations have interpreted the two roads that face the light-skinned race as the road to technology and the road to spirituality. We feel that the road to technology…. has led modern society to a damaged and seared earth. Could it be that the road to technology represents a rush to destruction, and that the road to spirituality represents the slower path that the traditional native people have traveled and are now seeking again? The earth is not scorched on this trail. The grass is still growing there.

The road to technology has brought many people to the road of spirituality and has single-handedly aided in making the world a better place for those who are repressed. As always, progress is a double edged sword that needs care and knowledge of handling in order to be effective. It`s my belief that the earth will improve with the abundance of knowledge available to the upcoming generation and that they will make a difference. Of course, we who aided by default will get the blame when it is really an accumulation of separation from basics.
I don`t mean any disrespect. It is only my point of view.
I appreciate hearing your perspective as it certainly has basis in fact Lesley. I agree with you in many respects.
I was merely trying to illustrate that there are alternatives. It would be wise not to be soley dependent on one source (atomic energy for instance) for the production of electricity. There are alternatives available to us. The Earth will go on with or without us. We will be living in favor of it by the choices we make and the life of present and future generations will be made easier by those choices.
