There Was No Sin

Then they adhered to their reason.                                               MartinGrelle-AsparokeGuardian
There was no sin;
in the holy faith their lives were passed.
There was no sickness;
they had then no aching bones;
they had then no high fever;
they had then no smallpox;
they had then no burning chest;
they had then no abdominal pains;
they had then no consumption;
they had then no headache.
At that time the course of humanity was orderly.
The foreigners made it otherwise when they arrived here.
They brought shameful things when they came…
this was the cause of our sickness also.
There were no more lucky days for us;
we had no sound judgment.
At the end our loss of vision,
and of our shame,
everything shall be revealed.

  1. Eddie, History repeated in the Native American Indian world as it did for the Aboriginal … we who are the so called civilised world were indeed the primitives when it came to understanding how to live in harmony. All we held in our hearts was greed and control…. and if we couldnt control we would kill…. A sad fact of the SIN some nations still hold at their heart…. I hope and pray for Peace and harmony in our time Eddie… But the Sins and Karma are still working their course…
    Blessings for a truly wonderful post which should make us all stop and think what we Do to another in the name of progress

    • Thank you very much for your kind and thoughful response. Yes, it matters little as to who gets hurt in the way of progress! And this continues without much thought to animal or human. What crap is this thing called progress. I have a little trouble with it…I know we can not go backwards…I know this…but who and what and why does this excuse the hurt and suffering it causes people and the Earth??
