The search for truth and understanding is at the foundation of this Sagittarius New Moon. It is shaped differently for each of us according to our heritage, education, and social background. Many of these factors are permanent and only recognized by the individual. There are countless viewpoints and lifestyles. Probably  as many as there are human beings on the planet! Each of us has a different perspective on life; a different way of looking at things. It is important now and then to deeply self examine one’s own perspective and viewpoint. Am I headed in the right direction? Am I making a difference in the world around me? Take advantage of this Sagittarius New Moon for personal reflection and self-examination.

Jupiter continues its retrograde motion until March 6, 2014. Some of you might be saying ‘what does that mean’; here is a brief explanation.

Planets are retrograde when they seem to travel in the opposite direction from their normal path of east to west. This will happen to all planets at one time or another. During that period any work is turned in ward rather than outward. Hence, with Jupiter retrograde (ruler of Sagittarius) it will become increasingly more important to examine our own convictions and reconsider what is most important to us.

He who knows others is wise;

He who knows himself is enlightened.
