“We, the great mass of the people think only of the love
we have for our land, we do love the land where we were brought up. We will
never let our hold to this land go, to let it go it will be like throwing away
(our) mother that gave (us) birth.”. – Letter from Aitooweyah to John Ross,
Principal Chief of the Cherokee.

  4. Eddie these are beautiful, I have never seen the like of flower in your top photo, and would love to know what it is called if you know the name of it? .. You know I had been thinking of posting some of my own garden flowers up, just to show how Nature gives us such colour and beauty in a small space.. And how if we but look around the world in all her splendour she brings to us a magical land of discovery in every blade of grass and every leaf, and every pebble in the stream…. I think I feel a poem somewhere coming along 🙂 so may create one soon with a slide show of my flowers.. you have inspired me with your post Eddie..
Such a great quote to use too.. Thank you for sharing ..

    • Happy that these pleased and inspired you Dreamwalker. The first flower is called a “crinum lily”.
It is popular in white. Plants are different everywhere on the globe. would love to see what grows in your homeland. peace, Eddie
