Native American pottery and baskets have been made and used for nearly 2000 years. This is just a small sampling of the craftmanship that is honored and admired today by people throughout the world. It is representation of the various forms and styles and by no means includes all work.

  1. These beautiful items honour the Earth from which they have come. So much unlike what is seen in Wal-mart type stores. I can imagine the Old Wise Ones instructing the new generation on how to make them in the time-honoured manner. But it seems so few honour time any more…..nor the Earth. It is wonderful to know there are ones such as yourself who care very much. It gives me hope.

  2. I find the simple ones the most stunning. Thanks for sharing Eddie

  3. Love the baskets and pottery Eddie, When I went over to Canada in the yr 2000, I went to the First Nations Museum and loved seeing first hand their wonderful skills in all the above and in beadwork… belts, head-dress tools and more… Native American Indians hold many wonderful skills and beautiful crafts… Thank you Eddie for sharing but a few.. ~Dreamwalker
