“The first peace, which is the most important,
is that which comes within the souls of people
when they realize their relationship, their oneness,
with the universe and all its powers,
and when they realize that at the center of the universe
dwells the Great Spirit,
and that this center is really everywhere,
it is within each of us.”

  1. The photos are amazing. I have 180 acres of Ojibwa land in my name in Upper Michigan. The wolves and the bear control the land. I go there to watch from a distance. Old spirits free to roam still. Thank you for the poetry and photos.

  2. It is the first understanding to know we are all connected and how much of what we do can effect the world and nature. Such moving photos of the most beautiful wolves.

  3. This is very true..the first peace does come within when you understand that you are part of all that is around you and it is integrally connected to you as well…by the Spirit that governs us all…words I live by…thank you for this post..it lifted my heart so much. love, Cathy.
