Leaving Myself Behind

lily pond-high-resolution-

I want to go soon and live away by the pond, where I shall hear only the wind

whispering among the reeds. It will be success if I shall have left myself behind.

But my friends ask what I will do when I get there. Will it not be employment

enough to watch the progress of the seasons?

Just gorgeous, so is the photo.

  2. Thank you for the like on my blog and also your kind words.. I love your post as well. The images are amazing and go with the words perfectly. I look forward to reading some more of them. ❤

  3. We’re retiring to the lake next month. Bob says maybe I should embroider the quote on a sampler but I don’t think we’ll need a lot of encouragement to enjoy living in the woods walking distance to the lake watching the changing seasons and the pelican migration. 🙂 We’ve been waiting a lot of years to do something like this.

      • Of course I will continue blogging, but it’s nice to know we would be missed. I really write it for Bob and I you know 🙂 It’s helped us through some scary times since Bob lost his job with little hope of there being another one. That situation hasn’t always felt like the gift we see it as now.

      • Many people have a challenge they do not welcome or invite and it is always untimely. These situations require all the patience we can muster. It is usually turns out for the better. Sending love and blessings, Eddie

      • Yes we are blessed, but we had to go through a really scary time to get there. When Bob lost his job with little hope of there being another one we weren’t ready to retire emotionally or financially.

  4. Arrgh Eddie, to sit by the pond and enjoy the Seasons!.. Life in a pond is always changing, as I know.. We have a small fish pond.. I counted 5 frogs the other day too…They are most welcome visitors to our garden.. I always love to come via your Pond/blog Eddie.. I savour my time here as I enjoy your tranquil space of peace here.. Many thanks for this gift you bring us. 🙂

  5. Ah, to do so Eddie, would be marvellous,… leave everything behind… I shall make myself small enough to live on a Lily Pad.. (Ribbit) for such a beautiful Pond as depicted above. Much love to you xPenx..

your kind word is always welcome
