While the world is full of wonderous sights,
inner peace comes from staying at home.

  1. This image is perfection Eddie.. Thank you.. ‘Staying at home.’. seems that is what I have been about this last week.. as I have buckled down with my crafts and been enjoying family time.. 🙂

  2. I’m glad I decided to read your post this morning, Eddie, rather than wait until later. I was just reflecting on the changes retirement has brought into my life. I used to travel a great deal in the past, and although I loved meeting new people and seeing new places, I now prefer staying home where I can think, write, and garden. And sometimes, I discover that what I write and the gardens I create bring happiness into the lives of others. Perhaps I wouldn’t value the luxury of staying home if I hadn’t experienced other places. Each thing in its season …

    • All experiences are for a reason. Now that you are spending more time at home,
perhaps these reasons will become clear. Your kind words are greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much Carol. Enjoy life daily
