Be a Steward

Man sometimes thinks he’s been elevated to be the controller, the ruler.
But he’s not. He’s only part of the whole. Man’s job is not to exploit
but to oversee, to be a steward. Man has responsibility, not power.

  1. yes man has forgotten his responsibilities Eddie, and forgets he owes the Earth for everything.. His very Breath is given freely, Yet we pollute the very air we are given.

    Wonderful flowers Eddie.. 🙂

    • One or two are here and there scattered about the place.
It is always a pleasant surprise to find them in flower.
Thank you very much for your kindness Sue. Enjoy this beautiful planet.

  2. What a wonderful message, thanks for blogging it, have re-blogged it, and shared it on my Facebook page and G+ blog. Best wishes and blessings, Charles.

      • Thanks Eddie Two Hawks, hope you enjoyed a good day; here it was a very hot day (well over 30C) and with the enormous fire we have had over the past while on our mountains here, a lot of the bird life has had to move down into suburbs, so was lucky enough to see a buzzard and an Eagle circling overhead in the sky. Best wishes and blessings, Charles.

  3. Very well said, I agree with this. Very different from what Chairman Mao from China believed that “Man must conquer Nature” and his beliefs on self-reliance.

    • This statement may differ from many who wish to ‘conquer’ and control nature’s power.
We know that this is never possible even though others may imagine
      being more ‘powerful’ than nature.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments today. They are greatly appreciated.

  4. Well said Eddie. We are not alone on this planet and we could not live here if we were. We need to take care of those that take care of us.
