What Kind Was It

A little sunshine at rising. I, standing by the river, see it
first reflected from E. Wood’s windows before I can see the sun.
Standing there, I hear the same stertorous note of a frog or
two as was heard the 13th, apparently from quite across all this
flood, and which I have so often observed before. What kind is it?

  1. It is far more beautiful in colour and shape than the ordinary green frogs here in Canada…there is nothing so peaceful to hear than frogs croaking in the morning, the way crickets ‘talk’ at sundown…lovely blog, Eddie..love, Katie.

  2. Henry David Thoreau’s Journal is a wonderful source of inspiration.. 🙂 What kind of frog? well its green LOL.. I would not have a clue . except to add its a beautiful Prince among frogs who looks quite calm sitting there waiting to catch his dinner.. 🙂

Have a beautiful day Eddie.. I hope its a fresh and green and full of hops, skips and Jumps! 🙂 _/\_ Sue
