Under His Feet

The spirit who has seen the spectre of death cannot be
scared by the faces of thieves; the soldier who has seen
the swords glittering over his head and streams of blood
under his feet does not care about rocks thrown at him
by the children on the streets.

  1. Ah, yes, the spectre of death, an old friend that.
Is this not an ocelot? A bobcat is bigger, has bushy sideburns and paler spots.

  2. ..being a ‘soldier of life’, I appreciate these words…they speak to me of myself…what has frightened or unnerved me in the past, cannot do so now…perspective, time and growth move and change us constantly…thankyou, Eddie…love, Katie.
