He Keeps to Himself

The wise person keeps silent and
controls his mind. That which he
knows, he keeps to himself.

  1. And if you need to impart your ‘knowledge’ another will need to argue with your understanding. The hawk, the eagle…..a good visual to remind yourself that you don’t need to say anything. Thanks for all your posts each day. I so appreciate.

  2. I like the sentiment behind this, Eddie.
But, does that mean those of us who blog, comment, and speak up aren’t wise? Well, I enjoy the wisdom you share and hope you keep doing so.

    • Generally speaking anyone sharing what is on there mind is ‘communicating’. Does this make them ‘wise’?
Personally, I think it is a little more than that. Thank you for your interest and response Vincent. Eddie

      • The wisdom is in the knowing when to speak up etc and when to put a sock in it! If more people delayed the speak out bit whilst they took 5 min’s to remember where the sock was, the world would be a much better place! ๐Ÿ™‚
