Hawks Among Us Vol 2-Encore Presentation

Love is eternal.

It favors not the rich or the poor nor any physical distinction.

It reaches into mind, heart, body and spirit and may be expressed

in countless fashions. Love begins and ends a moment, a day, and a life.

  1. I love the photos. Hawks are beautiful creatures, in my view. A few days ago we saw a red-tailed hawk close up, that landed in our backyard tree. Beautiful poem, also.

      • Yeah, he may have been scoping out our wiener dogs. Just want to mention, I also really like that shot of the bird riding on the hawk’s back. What a great pic!

  2. What beautiful pictures! I especially the one with the small bird on the hawk’s back during flight! A red winged black bird?

  3. Two days ago I stood on my porch, and watched as a hawk flew directly at me, finally breaking to climb right in front of me. He was so close, I could have reached out and touched him. I was in awe…

    While it is not unheard of to see hawks this far in the city at this time of year, I don’t recall having ever had one fly so close to me before. I stepped off the porch, just to check, certain I must have misidentified him. Though it is hard to misidentify a hawk at that close range…

    But there he sat, atop my roof, ruffling his wings. For moments I stood there, memerized, before he turned his head to look at me, then lifted off and went on his way.

    Thank you so much for these beautiful pictures, and for allowing me to re-experience the magic of that moment!

    • He was there for you Lisa. You know this now. These very special creatures will open up secrets;
      about ourselves, the future, or even answer past questions that may have been on our mind,
      if you let them do their magic.
