The Treasure

The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.

  1. Interesting paradox…. The best part is that it makes much sense… 💫✨🌟
Thank you very much for sharing, dear Eddie…. All the best to you!, Aquileana 😀

  2. This photo reminds me of a song / recital that I was part of, ages ago. My part was singing about the white rose, even though I’m a Róisín Dubh myself…

“I am a white rose – gleaming, shining
Sparkling like snow on the mountainside
Restless as whitecaps flung by the ocean’s breeze
We are the flowers of humanity…”

  3. This is so beautiful, Eddie! The photo and the quote are both wonderful, and together they are perfect.

  4. It has long seemed to me that Campbell, whom I was lucky enough to meet and hear lecture, was quite remarkable. His work though remains highly problematic for Native people I believe. He was ultimately focused on the Jungian task of individuation, something quite Western, and out of relation to All That Is. Still, he had insight and a sort of dangerous wisdom.

    • His material does not seem that complex (at least to me). Native Traditions have entertained similar thoughts and even wrote about them in poetic form. To Western civilization, most ‘new’ thought seemed dangerous.

  5. Hi Eddie, sorry for my recent absence, despite my efforts to get my internet on, it seems higher forces have dictated otherwise. I’m on a mobile dongle ATM. It’s still full steam ahead here though when I’m able. I did send pics to your mail around a month or so back, not sure if you received them though. I’m a bit under the weather on the health front ATM, but as soon as I feel better, I’ll take some more pics and show you the progression to date. Both front and back gardens are getting revamped, so still a fair bit to do yet out there. 😊
I’ve missed bobbing in to read your posts, but hopefully it’ll all be sorted soon and I’ll be back. 😊
Sending love and peace your way and a big hug too. 😊

    • Sounds like much is occupying your life these days. Same here, including major computer problems.
Yes thank you, did receive your photos.
Maintaining this site has been challenging. Was thinking of closing
down for a while just to catch up at home. Gardens are demanding great attention now. Any posts are
a bit of a struggle to produce but will carry on as long as possible.
      with love, Eddie

      • Sounds like you’ve had challenging times like myself there Eddie. Well I’ve managed to overdo it yet again and the universe has literally taken me off my feet, been laid up unable to do anything for two days now and body is purging itself, it feels like it anyway. I’ll be OK again soon though hopefully to carry on, no rush though, a bit of self indulgery methinks until then. Well done for keeping up with your page though! 😊As you’ve been around for a few years now, why don’t you repost some of your past stuff, I’m sure folk would understand that life sometimes takes precedence. 😊 I hope you’re OK though and in fine fettle, my love to you and yours, big hugs your way! 😊

Know you are doing a Great Work here, and I for one, am very Grateful that you walk with those of us on the Higher Path. This post is Perfect and the words OH how true! I just “heard” words about courage and fear and they pretty much parellel what is said here. Thank you SO much for shining your Light. I LOVE this Rose!!! Love, Amy ❤
