Do not speak of evil for it creates
curiosity in the minds of the young.

  1. And yet our poor old Raven gets so much bad press.. When he is very intelligent 🙂 And the raven is symbolic of mind, thought and wisdom according to Norse legend. Native North American tribes such as the Hopi are said that they felt the raven flew out from the dark womb of the cosmos, and with it brought the light of the sun ..
Our Children of today could do well to learn from the Raven.. Who often scavengers and makes the most of his surroundings .. I agree with your quote Eddie.. Children are being brought up in the constant ‘blackness’ of conflict, be it through TV violence, Film or games.. Is it any wonder their young wings turn black!..

    • Crows are ‘curious’ birds. This is why the image was chosen.
Not because I consider them ‘evil’ in any way. It never occurred
to me. Thank you for your thoughts on the matter. Very interesting Sue

      • And I meant no offence either dear Eddie.. I just felt sorry for poor crow and raven who are often used in images to depict evil.. when in fact I quite love the birds.. You see I grew up with huge beech trees in my garden when I was a child and they would wake me in the morning as they built their nest high in the branches.. I would often observe them through my bedroom window feeding their young.. xx ❤

      • They do sort have a bad reputation Sue. It’s not my intention here or anywhere.
They are very intelligent birds and are considered wise in some cases.
