A Wild Red Flower

What shall I do? My man compares me
to a wild red flower.
When I have withered in his hands,
he will leave me.

      • Wow.. that’s amazing to have such a lovely flower/vine that adopted your patch of earth to thrive… I always loved the ‘Johnny Jump Ups’ that would grow from a crack in the sidewalk… I never had the heart to remove even one, unless it was to transplant it to a more-worthy spot.

Nature gives us so many gifts, if we will just pause long enough to see them.

      • The ‘gifts’ come in many forms. Your thoughtful remarks
are greatly appreciated Lisa. Thanks, isn’t this a beautiful day?
