This touches my heart as well; a friend and I just had an interesting conversation about ‘standing back’ and observing vs jumping in and extending a hand to the fellow man… we are/were talking about refugees and how they have few choices but are in desperation mode.. how can one turn a cold heart…… and then there are the ‘yes, but-‘ replies…

    compassion, so important to healing our word.
