Let Go

Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom
is the only condition for happiness. If, in
our heart, we still cling to anything – anger,
anxiety, or possessions – we cannot be free.

  1. Finishing the move from points B and C to point A, I definitely relate to the concept of letting go of material things…. It was really easy to let go of things that I valued and could use – like favorite pots/pans – but those still in the earthquake area need so much – so it’s an easy parting… As I go through some final things today, I’m gong to hold this advice close to heart and pass along here in the cloud forest as well.

    Thanks for this, Eddie!

    • This response a little delayed Lisa,
Understand fully and completely making big location changes. For instance…
When moving from Canada to Florida I packed a 3 bedroom house into a Suzuki Samurai.
Ok, I did make 2 trips. But I did leave my two dear daughters and a long relationship behind.
such is life, changes happen, that was nearly 25 years ago now

  2. Great words. I am trying to practice this. Freedom means having no attachments, no desires and it’s a tough thing to do, to break free of all bondage. But freedom lies there..

  3. I’ve been giving away for years and still doing more. The more I give away, the better I feel. The only thing I want to hold on and cherish is the love of my children and friends. Nothing else matters. Letting go is often difficult but if you don’t do it willingly, the Universe makes that choice for you sometimes.

  4. I have been doing a little of that Eddie, Letting Go, I had a big clear out of things, and have plenty more to give to charity organisations . This year is definitely going to be a let go year 🙂 Have a Peaceful Weekend 🙂
