It’s Not the Load

It’s not the load that breaks you down,
it’s the way you carry it.

  1. nice quote, and from a refreshing and unexpected source! speaking of sports, i suppose march madness is either in the finale or has swept the country? no news like that reaches here unless i do a search!

    • The only ‘madness’ that I’m aware of is spring clean-up and planting.
Coming back from the hurricane is still going on in some ways and it’s time consuming.
We don’t hear much news from Ecuador either.
Have a most delightful day Lisa

  2. Just to add. You might ask a friend to help you carry that load. In that way it does not become too heavy. Just a thought.
Great weekend everyone. My calendar is now Friday. Yahoo.!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Thanks for your advice Mary. Advice kindly given is always appreciated.
However, I’ve learned never to carry more than I can handle at a time.
It is Friday, and for many that means the weekend is coming!
      Enjoy it

  3. Hi Eddie. I sometimes wonder if some of the people who say such ‘wise’ words, have actually carried any load at all in their lives, or if they are just observers of others. This is not to say I look forward to your posts.

  4. Timely quote for me today, as I sit here with my first cup of coffee, convinced I simply cannot do today… And then some other part starts screaming, “of course you can! Because you must!”

*shifting my load to a more comfortable position*

Thanks for the gentle push, Eddie!

your kind word is always welcome
