The Rarest Thing

To live is the rarest thing in the world.
Most people exist, that is all.

  1. when i read this, i flashed back to life in the usa, when a friend said that about his marriage; ‘we exist,’ he said. that left me feeling sad – to think of people going through motions – no hate or malice, no one cherishing the other — i often tell people to try to remember what it was that first brought them together and then try to recapture it.. ‘existing’ is not a good way to use this precious life we’re given.

i’m behind on commenting, but try to read every post…

i see that beryl is slipping toward the americas… haven’t checked the status, but i hope that this is an easy year for all. happy july, eddie!

    • In just a few days, my dear wife, best friend, and soulmate celebrate the day we first met.
It’s been 25 years and we are still learning about each other.
There are no storms anywhere that could potentially harm us and none on the horizon.
Happy summer’s day to you dear friend.
Thankful for your very kind words Lisa. Sending love and blessings, Eddie

kindness is always welcome
