It Is Life

It is life, I think, to watch the water.
A man can learn so many things.

  1. There is something about water that intimidates me, especially the ocean. The folds of the waves, the crashing of the tides. It’s so calm and soothing.

    • Watching the ocean rise and fall, ripple and move is so mesmerizing.
You are so right about it being calm and soothing. Thanks so much for your kind response!

  2. Nicely said! I also think that it’s the water that teaches us how to calm down after going through a storm. The flowers teach us beauty, how to be delicate and fragile and spread our ‘scent’ across the world. Indeed, true love gives our life a real meaning and i think it’s also what makes us feel truly alive!

  3. …and yet, may not be capable of articulating that which is learned. Perhaps, some wisdom cannot be absorbed from words anyway, maybe simply by observing currents and stillness. I agree with this lovely post you have shared.

  4. Thanks for the follow Eddie. I love this photo – mostly because of its simplicity and well, rawness. An added “draw” is the fact that I live on Lake Superior – a lake that contains such an amazing power to damage, heal, and fascinate the eye with its visual glory.

Am going to dig deeper into your site. Can’t wait to see what I find. With your name, am assuming you are Native American – a tradition I’m deeply immersed in.

    Enjoy your day.

      • You liked one of my posts. You are welcome to follow, but my ego isn’t big enough to need that. What you post is fabulous and real so I’m happy simply reading what comes out of your heart.

  5. Indeed true and very deep. Nowadays instead of finding happiness, we look for problems everywhere. We enjoy going to malls, movies etc and we prefer these things over nature. We so often forget the real beauty of life lies in nature. In a life full of chaos, when you sit back and take a look at nature, you forget all your worries. Every thing in nature teaches us something or the other. The waves of the ocean give the meaning of life. Going from calm to wild, they tell us that life is not always smooth. It has its ups and downs and you need to keep moving it. You have to make your choices no matter how difficult they are.

    • Going to malls may be fun for many, but I personally hate the very thought of it and always have.
Nature is the best teacher and a good place to lose your worries
Your very kind response is greatly appreciated. You have given this much thought.
      Thank you so much!

  6. That is true Eddie… And the ocean is screaming at us to take notice of what we are doing to her.. I watched a nature programme the other evening and the extent of the plastic waste now is astounding that is now on and within our ocean. Being consumed by fish and is now in the food and water chain…
People forget that ALL water on this planet is being recycled from the ocean… So is it any wonder plastic is now found in what once was pure spring water!… As the ocean evaporates and comes back down as rain..

Water IS LIFE… such a very apt title.. ❤ Sending Love and Peace my friend

    • Plastics or plastic by products have been found in every living organism on Earth.
      Can this ever be undone?
Thank you dearest friend for sharing your treasured thoughts and opinions.
Feel the Sun on your face

      • Thank you dear Eddie,, Yes it permeates everything ….The Sun is in hiding today… 🙂 but the warmth of your thoughts certainly brought a smile to my face.. ❤ 🙂 Thank you, enjoy your day dear friend ❤

kindness is always welcome
