We Are Addicted

We are addicted to our thoughts.
We cannot change anything if we
cannot change our thinking.

  1. I am not worthy of all this. I get it, and I love you for what you are doing. I have been a soldier, I have been a fool, I have made too many mistakes. you may call me sensai. Peace and love to you and yours Mr Two Hawks. For I have travelled the paths none of these nor you have travelled… shit job. but somebody has to do it…
thankyou so very much for existing dear person.

    • Each of us are here to experience, learn and grow. No two people are alike. Each of us travel
the path needed to fulfill our purpose. None is greater than the other. We all have had or have
‘shit’ jobs. Do not lament my friend.

  2. Isn’t it curious how closely we identify with our thoughts, almost like they are us… yet, we are in essence very different from our thoughts… that distinction allows me to guide my thinking!

    • ‘The distinguishing character or personality of an individual’ (identity) will certainly ‘guide’ your thoughts
as well as actions throughout your life. ‘You’ will evolve, change, and grow over time becoming more
than what you think. Indeed, they guide your actions which also identify you.

  3. True. But easier said than done. I’ve read that it takes between 21 days up to a month to change habits which I have diligently tried to do over and over. All types of affirmations, exercise, Creative activities etc….
For a while I stay positive but in 60 seconds flat the negative Thoughts return. I suppose based upon past experiences certain thinking becomes inbred and become imprinted on one’s personality and cannot be undone.

    • If you are trying to change many things at once, I can definitely see how you would fail.
Better to work on one thing (and one thing only) until it is accomplished. When successful,
move on to something else, but only when you succeed on that first thing.
Changing yourself and lifelong habits is not like moving the furniture around.

      • Am an early bird. Knew as a 4 year old that I’d never grow out of geting up at 4 am – and I haven’t. Its the best part of the day. I’m watching two fox in the yard romping around. Oops, four deer just strolled in. What a gift to see all of this.

Love what you have in your heart Eddie. Glad you share with all of us.

kindness is always welcome
