Your Best Spiritual Teacher

If you can cultivate the right attitude,
your enemies are your best spiritual teachers
because their presence provides you with
the opportunity to enhance and develop
tolerance, patience and understanding.

  1. agree with this! some of my most painful experiences have been the ones to force me to change and grow, they are painful lessons but they are the most life altering

  2. That is great. Also we may add that we can learn from anyone and anything including our enemies. One way is to learn from a positive behavior and another is to learn what should be avoided.

  3. This is so very true. We learn the most from our negative experiences in life. Reminds me a very true scripture. James 1:2,3.

“Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you meet with various trials, knowing as you do that this tested quality of your faith produces endurance.”

  4. Dear Mr Two Hawks, please may I say I love what you do. I with all my heart wish for Peace and Love to you and yours for the new year. even though I wish that, I know you do not need it, and although I am the old lonely one, still can smile when I read and see your outstanding posts. my feeble love. I would enjoy being your drunken uncle.

    • Dear Gary J, as your kindness shines through you,
the brilliance of your good heart is be seen by everyone!
Drink up the love of hearts that are humbled around you!

      • Very often the corn plant is cultivated solely for its attractive leaves and placed in a dark corner of the house. The chances it will bloom are much, much better, if you place it in good light. And indeed, when it blooms, the fragrance invades the whole house. It is so intense that it sometimes becomes intolerable and you feel obliged to stick the plant in a spare bedroom and close the door at night.

      • These plants very well could have originated from ‘houseplants’ that were planted in the ground. Now they are 8 foot tall and require occasional trimming.

kindness is always welcome
